This is the limit for the whole system — the included slings are rated higher, but the lift's 350 lb rating always governs. The actuator runs a 10% duty cycle — a maximum of 2 minutes on followed by 18 minutes off. In a facility running back-to-back transfers, plan around it. Dansons directs that no transfer be attempted without prior approval from the person's nurse, and that the sling be chosen together with the patient's doctor, nurse or medical attendant. Read the owner's manual in full and practise the lift several times before transferring anyone. Inspect the sling for fraying, worn stitching or damaged straps before every use. Warranty runs 3 years on the lift frame and spreader bar, 2 years on the actuator, casters and pendant, and 6 months on reusable slings.
