1970s Brown Jersey Bishop Sleeve Collared Maxi Dress

This 1970s Jean Varon by John Bates maxi dress was made in England of unlined brown poly jersey and originally purchased at Harrods. It has dramatic bishop sleeves, a long pointed collar, and a pleated skirt. The front fastens with a zipper fly and four fabric-covered buttons at the top, and each cuffs has two buttons. The dress comes with the original tie belt, and has a pocket at each side. There is some minor discolouration in the armpits that is discreet when worn, but it's otherwise in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
