Handcrafted in Peru, these beautiful Raku-style glazed ceramic pendant beads with a profile of Warrior Chief feature vibrant hand-painted details and a large coin shape with an integrated ceramic bail. Finished in rich blue glaze, many pieces also display beautiful iridescent overtones of rust, green, and purple, giving each pendant its own unique character. Measuring approximately 28mm (35mm including bail), each pendant accommodates cords up to 2mm, making it perfect for leather, hemp, silk, or cotton cording. Because every piece is individually handmade and glazed, slight variations in color, pattern, shape, and finish are to be expected. Sold individually, randomly picked. Chief in Feathered Headdress Symbolism: A chief wearing a traditional feathered headdress is commonly used as a symbol of leadership, wisdom, courage, honor, and responsibility. In many Indigenous cultures, feathered headdresses are earned through acts of service, bravery, or achievement and represent deep respect rather than simply a decorative adornment. When used as a decorative motif, this image is often appreciated as a symbol of strength, dignity, and a connection to heritage and tradition.
