Top Connector 100-16mm - DIY BY BRAS Free STL File! The Top Connector 100-16mm is an airflow connector designed for the DIY BY BRAS system. Designed to connect a 16mm air inlet to a large 100mm pipe section, it makes it possible to feed air into large wind instrument bodies, oversized resonators, and large flute heads. You can use it with both rigid or flexible pipe depending on the instrument. As part of the DIY BY BRAS system, it can be combined with heads, mouthpieces, rings, sleeves, and other connectors to explore many different instrument designs. IMPORTANT: The actual diameter of 100mm and 16mm PVC pipes can vary slightly depending on manufacturer and production batch. To ensure compatibility with the widest range of pipes, DIY BY BRAS parts are designed slightly oversized. While our finished instruments are individually adjusted to match our current pipe stock, DIY parts must remain adaptable to many different pipe sources. For optimal performance, an airtight seal is required. Simply wrap transparent adhesive tape around the pipe to create a custom-fit seal before inserting it into the printed part.
