Diego Armando T-Shirt

I love those knock-off t-shirts that you used to see in the ’80s and ’90s when a new player signed for a club and then they would get a t-shirt printed and made as quickly as possible to cash-in on the hype. They always looks a bit ropey but the excitement was always present in the graphics. Anyway a few weeks ago our mates at Pezzotto (a new brand which we are helping with) got in touch to say that their first releases would be classic Maradona graphics and obviously we needed them in the shop. This graphic was originally featured on a scarf and a few other products sold by street vendors when Diego first signed for Napoli. We decided together that it would make an amazing t-shirt and so we got Jim to get out the printing press and crack on. The graphic is a portrait of Maradona with ‘Diego Armando Maradona’ around his head, exactly like the original. It comes on a beautifully soft t-shirt and has the Pezzotto logo in the inside neck, a much higher quality than these t-shirts ever were when first released, but if you want to tell you friends that it is a beautiful preserved t-shirt that you paid 1000€ for in Napoli, we won’t tell anyone. You can mix and match any 3 TRiCKETT/Pezzotto branded t-shirts and get them for £89, so that way you can sort your wardrobe out with some proper lovely t-shirts and look good whilst doing it.
