“Napoleon” Flower Pot | +/- 1800
This antique Delft wall tile in blue with so-called ‘Napoleon’ flower pots was made at the bridge between the 18th and 19th centuries. The tile got its name as the shape of the pots reminds us of the famous bicorne hat that Napoleon wore (upside down). The condition is excellent with some very small chips.
