Queensland Sapphire - 1.80ct, Freeform, Green

Soft green runs the length of this Rubyvale sapphire, threaded with warm golden and honey zones that pool toward one end where the light gathers. The elongated freeform cut is a lapidary's decision rather than a default — stepped facets following the rough to hold the colour along the stone's length, finishing in a tapered point that gives it real geometry. A few small natural inclusions sit within, the quiet markers of an untreated Australian sapphire. Mined in the Rubyvale gem fields of Central Queensland and left exactly as it formed.
