Parker 51 Custom in black, gold cap - Medium nib - Chalk Marks

The photos above are of the actual pen we are offering for sale here Vintage English Parker 51 Custom in black with the rolled gold Custom cap and original factory chalk marks on the barrel. This is fitted with a medium 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.6mm In terms of condition, this appears not to have been used. It still has the original factory chalk marks for the model and nib grade on the barrel. The cap is perfect with crisp imprints. Overall, this is in superb condition This dates from the mid/late 1950s as it has the earlier cage clutch, the simple rolled gold imprint on the reverse of the cap and the earlier metal sac protector with the black tip. During its service work, we noticed that the nib had the production date imprint of 1956 Condition A2/1m- (Ref 13332) See our Condition Grading Scale We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip. This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges This pen comes with our normal 12 month warranty.
