Equatoria
Black cherry and chocolate-led, with a rounded sweetness and a nutty pecan finish. Grown in Nzara and Yambio County in South Sudan, this coffee comes from the Equatoria project, where farmers are supported with training and seedlings to rebuild production following years of disruption. The region’s lower altitudes favour more resilient varietals, with Excelsa – part of the Liberica species – offering structure and depth. A honey process, where some of the fruit is left on during drying, brings added sweetness and a softer, more rounded profile.
