Bodegas Aalto, Blanco de Parcela Fuente de las Hontanillas 2022

Aalto's rarely seen white is from 850 metre high altitude Verdejo vineyards, and a smaller percentage of Godello and Albillo, in Fuente de las Hontanillas. This high altitude imparts freshness to balance the ripeness of the fruit and the oak ageing, making for a seriously impactful, yet elegant, wine. The addition of Godello rules it out as a DO wine, so it is labelled as a simple Vino de la Terra, despite its impressive pedigree and top notch winemaking. Only 7,500 bottles produced.
