Description Paracetamol HTP caplet 500 mg belongs to the group of medicines with analgesic and fever-reducing effects. Paracetamol HTP caplet 500 mg is used in the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever. Dosage form: tablet Storage instructions There are no special storage conditions for this medicine. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiration date. It can be found on the packaging after "Do not use after:" or "Exp.:". There is a date and a year. The last day of that month is the expiration date. Do not flush medicines down the sink or toilet and do not throw them in the trash. Ask your pharmacist what to do with medicines you no longer use. If you dispose of medicines in the right way, they will be destroyed in the right way and will not end up in the environment. Instructions for use The least number of administrations per day is intended for the youngest children in a particular group. Take the tablets with plenty of water. Paracetamol HTP caplet 500 mg is not suitable for children under 6 years of age. There should be at least 4 hours between two intases. Do not use in combination with other paracetamol containing products. Do not exceed the indicated dosage. When the symptoms of pain and/or fever reappear, administration can be repeated according to the indicated dosage schedule. If the pain persists or worsens for more than 5 days or the fever for more than 3 days, or if other symptoms occur, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted. The effective daily dose should not exceed 60 mg/kg/day (up to 2 g/day) in the following situations: • adults weighing less than 50 kg • mild to moderate liver failure, Gilbert's syndrome (familial non-hemolytic jaundice) • dehydration • chronic malnutrition Warnings/Usage Restrictions Contact your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. In case of: • Liver or kidney function disorders • Moderate to severe renal insufficiency (insufficient functioning of the kidneys) • Mild to severe liver failure (insufficient liver function) • Gilbert's syndrome • Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency • Hemolytic anemia • Dehydration • Chronic malnutrition • Asthmatic patients who are susceptible to aspirin (= acetylsalicylic acid) In chronic alcoholism, the daily dose should not exceed 2 grams of paracetamol (this corresponds to 4 tablets Paracetamol HTP caplet 500 mg).
