Vintage EMERGENCY CASH Charm
IN EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS The words stamped into the base of this vintage gold charm give quite clear instructions on how to use it... and should the need arise, there's a 10 shilling note neatly folded within. London hallmarks warrant the gold at 9 carat and confirm the year it was made: 1965. Many people assume that it's a £10 note in there, which would have made it's equivalent value today just shy of £200. 10 shillings (aka "ten bob") would, however, be worth around £10. Enough for a cab fare home, perhaps? Or a large gin and tonic. Era: Vintage, 1965 Size: 1.4cm by 1.2cm Hallmarks: English, London, 9ct Gold, 1965 Condition: Great vintage condition; light wear/patina consistent with age.
