How to Grow Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Suitable for greenhouses, raised beds, large containers or sheltered outdoor spaces. Support plants with canes, trellis or netting as they climb. Water consistently to prevent bitter fruit. Feed regularly with a high-potash fertiliser once flowering begins. How to Harvest Harvest cucumbers when they are young and firm, typically around 15–20cm long. Pick regularly to encourage continued fruit production throughout the season.
