URBAN WALLPAPERS is a series painted on ornamental tapestry wallpaper—originally designed to be pasted in the streets. This medium creates a bridge between my street work and my gallery pieces on carpet, while keeping the decorative aesthetic at the core of my practice. The wallpapers, sourced from France, offer a fresh surface where intricate patterns meet bold portraiture. Some works are hand-painted, others torn, embossed, or detailed in gold—each one unique, just like us. This series brings the richness and texture of my rug art into a smaller, more intimate format, giving collectors a one-of-a-kind piece with depth, detail, and character.
