This series uses thick 14-count cotton yarn as its material, achieving a surprisingly light and comfortable feel while having a more substantial look than conventional Remi Relief sweatshirts. "3-skip pile" is a technique of knitting the back loop stitches loosely, skipping several stitches. This technique gives the fabric a sturdy structure while creating appropriate softness and elasticity that flexibly adapts to body movements. Additionally, the skipped-stitch knitting creates a structure that traps air, giving the fabric a thick and plump texture. Despite this, the weight of the fabric itself is reduced, achieving a lightness that prevents fatigue even after long hours of wear. It's a series that offers a lighter feel while having a more substantial look than conventional Remi Relief sweatshirts. 【PROCESSING】 What is SP Processing (Special Processing)? From the 1930s to the late 1960s, direct dyes and sulfur dyes were mainly used for sweatshirts. The principle of fading in old clothes is thought to be a process where oxygen in the air and the amino acids holding the dye undergo oxidative coupling, causing hydrolysis, turning into carbon, and decaying. REMI RELIEF's SP processing reproduces this natural principle, using traditional direct dyes combined with oxygen to slowly fade the dyes over a long period. Although the body undergoes considerable damage, unlike processing that forcibly melts fabric using chemicals or bio-agents, it achieves an atmosphere closest to the natural aging damage of old clothes, and is treated naturally so that it becomes indistinguishable from real vintage clothing the more it is worn. 【MATERIAL】 COTTON　100％ The yarn used for the back pile is "recycled cotton" from organic cotton grown on the Alvarez farm in New Mexico, USA. We use a very dense and stiff back pile, knitted to the limit of the gauge, with yarn characterized by its firmness and elasticity.
