Hope in Bloom
Omogboye’s artistic journey began with studying art and industrial design at Lagos State Polytechnic and working at the Lagos National Theatre. His talent earned him the prestigious AADS Best Artist of the Year award in 2007. After teaching art for six years, he relocated to South Africa in 2014 to continue his creative endeavors. His extensive portfolio spans various media, including charcoal, pastel, acrylic, and oil on canvas, and has been exhibited in galleries across Lagos, Johannesburg, France, and other locations. Known for his vivid, energetic brushwork and playful depictions of human anatomy, Omogboye’s work embraces life's imperfections, fostering an appreciation for authenticity and the beauty of existence.
