The guitar features an alder body with a bookmatched quilted maple top and mahogany tone block, finished in high gloss polyester. The figured roasted maple neck has a comfortable 12” radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 low-profile wide frets, and is finished in a gunstock oil and hand-rubbed wax blend that feels fantastic in the hand. Schaller M6-IND locking tuners keep things perfectly in tune. At just 7 lbs 10 oz, it’s a comfortable all-night player. Electronics are top-shelf: an HSS configuration with a DiMarzio Transition humbucker at the bridge and two DiMarzio custom single coils, run through Music Man’s custom active preamp.
