First Friday Fun! Linen Laptop Sleeve with Pocket - Friday June 5, 2026 - 6:00-9:00 pm Room for 12 This is not a project for beginners. You must know how to use the sewing machine and sew straight lines without assistance. If you've taken our Beginner/Refresher class this will be a fun project for you! Create your own beautiful laptop, tablet sleeve in this guided, hands-on workshop! You’ll learn how to construct a professionally finished sleeve featuring a soft yet structured lined interior with felt batting, exterior pocket for organization, and a coordinating zipper . Choose from our curated selection of the finest fabrics in the shop to make your sleeve uniquely yours. Along the way, you’ll build essential sewing skills and confidence while creating a piece that’s as practical as it is beautiful—perfect for laptops, tablets, books, projects, or everyday use. A fun and rewarding project for sewists of all levels! Please bring your device (or it's measurements) so you get the perfect fit! Cost: $90 - includes all fabric/supplies/tools. Sewing machines are provided. If you want to bring your own machine it must be in good working condition. If you bring your own machine please show up 5 minutes ahead of time to set up your machine.
