Crafted in 18ct yellow gold and platinum, this ring reflects a combination that was particularly popular during the Edwardian period, when platinum became the preferred metal for diamond settings due to its strength and naturally bright white colour. At the centre, three old-cut diamonds are set in north-south alignment within fine millegrain bezel settings, with an estimated total weight of 0.57ct. The diamonds display J–K colour and clarity ranging from VS2 to SI1. A further sixteen old-cut diamonds extend around the edge of the top plate and continue into the shoulders, adding soft sparkle and enhancing the ring’s balanced design. Together, the nineteen diamonds create an elegant spread of light across the full width of the piece. The setting is completed by a pierced yellow gold underrail, a thoughtful detail that adds both lightness and character when viewed from the side. Combining warm yellow gold, platinum, and old-cut diamonds, this is a refined example of Edwardian design . SKU C731
