“A Vapor” was inspired by James 4:14 — a sobering reminder of how brief this life truly is. We spend so much of our lives planning, striving, worrying, building, and chasing things that ultimately will not last. Yet Scripture reminds us that our lives are like a vapor — here for a moment, then gone. This piece was created to turn our hearts away from temporary things and toward eternity. A reminder to live for Christ now, while we still have breath, and to hold tightly to the only thing that will never fade: Him. “What is your life?
