SEEBE Ring No.062604 - Sterling Silver + Sapphires

The Seebe is a weighty silver sculpture, This one has embedded sapphires. I made Seebe inspired by Wilder- my daughter, as she carved her first ring in my studio, and we sand cast it into the "WILDER" Ring. I had instructed her to refine her piece a bit more before we cast, as to lighten it up and take out some of the weight, as I had been instructed, by my instructors, and so forth. But then I stopped and admired the rawness her creation. Unrefined and unapologetic. Inspired by my daughter's creation, I made the Seebe ring, a friendly companion for the Wilder ring. This collection of sand cast statement rings embraces the weight of metal and is solid sterling silver weighing approximately 17 grams. These rings are weighty and playful wearable sculptures, raw and unrefined, yet polished enough to evoke the coveted patina of time. Size 7.5
