"Nanko Temple" - Vintage Matted Print

It was part of an 18-piece collection of similar pencil sketches, all done by US Military artists to document post-war Japan., called "Sketches of Japan 1945". This vintage print reproduces an original pencil drawing titled "Nanko Temple," depicting a serene Japanese temple scene with graceful rooflines, a stone guardian figure, and a gardener tending the grounds. The original artwork is called "Nanko Temple, Kobe, Japan," and captures the quiet atmosphere and architectural beauty of a traditional Japanese religious site.
