RO Membrane Nitto Denko Hydranautics CPA3 – Best Price
Industrial sectors and other fields actively use reverse osmosis membranes to process desalted and/or Ultra Pure Water (UPW). These applications include supplying make-up water for power plants, manufacturing electronic chips, producing food and beverages, as well as supporting pharmaceutical and medical operations. An Vi Group proudly supplies high-quality membranes from leading reverse osmosis membrane manufacturers, including Dupont/Dow Filmtec, Nitto Denko Hydranautics, Toray, Veolia (Suez), LG Chem H2O, and Aquaporin. These manufacturers offer membranes in 4″ and 8″ sizes suitable for both brackish water and seawater applications. The membranes provide essential features for efficient operation, such as low operating pressure and high salt rejection. An Vi Group presents the CPA3 RO Membrane, which Nitto Denko Hydranautics has specifically designed and manufactured to meet demanding water treatment needs. 1. Key Features RO membrane CPA3: RO Membrane CPA3 is the third generation CPA high rejection brackish water RO membrane introduced in the late 1990’s. This membrane at 99.7% rejection is an upgrade to the CPA2 with 10% more membrane area (400 square feet). This resulted in reduced capital costs by requiring fewer pressure vessels and less floor space. Besides, CPA3 membranes also have a thicker (34 mil) feed spacer that exhibits higher tolerance to feed water suspended solids. 2. Key Applications RO membrane Nitto Denko Hydranautics: RO membrane CPA3 is used in the treatment of drinking water, industrial process waters, municipal and industrial waste water recovery and reuse because of this exception performance capability. These membranes also serve as part of polishing units in seawater desalination plants when boron rejection is critical. 3. Typical Properties RO membrane CPA3: Model: : RO membrane CPA3 Active Area ft2 (m2) : 400 (37.2) Feed Spacer Thickness (mil) : 34 Permeate Flow Rate gpd (m3/d) : 11,000 gpd (41.6) Stabilized Salt Rejection (%) : 99.7 Minimum Salt Rejection (%) : 99.6 Conditions test RO membrane Nitto Denko Hydranautics: 1. Permeate flow and salt rejection based on the following standard conditions: 1,500 ppm NaCl, 225 psi (15.5 bar), 77°F (25°C), pH 6.5 – 7.0 and 15% recovery. 2. Flowrates for individual elements may vary but will be no more than 15% below the value shown. 3. Sales specifications may vary as design revisions take place. 4. Suggested Operating Conditions RO membrane CPA3: Membrane Type : Composite Polyamide Maximum Operating Temperature : 113°F (45°C) Maximum Operating Pressure : 600 psig (41 bar) Maximum Pressure Drop Per Element Per Pressure Vessel (Minimum 4 Elements) : 15 psig (1.0 bar) : 50 psig (3.5 bar) pH Range RO membrane CPA3 Continuous Operation Short-Term Cleaning (30 min.) : 2- 11 : 1-13 Maximum Feed Flow : 85 gpm (19.3 m3/h) Maximum Feed Silt Density Index : SDI 5 Free Chlorine Tolerance : < 0.1 ppm About packaging: All membrane elements Nitto Denko Hydranautics are supplied with a brine seal, interconnector, and O-rings. Elements are enclosed in a sealed polyethylene bag containing less than 1.0% sodium meta-bisulfite solution, and then packaged in a cardboard box. 5. The information and recommendations RO membrane CPA3: Maximum temperature for continuous operation above pH 10 is 95°F (35°C). For recommended feed and permeate flow rates, flux, and recovery for various feed sources. Oxidation damage is not covered under warranty, we recommends removing residual free chlorine by pretreatment prior to membrane exposure. Please contact to An Vi Group for more information. 6. General Information about RO Nitto Denko Hydranautics: Always keep the Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element CPA3 moist after the initial wetting. To ensure successful operation of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Nanofiltration (NF) membrane systems, operators must follow the guidelines provided in the Nitto Denko Hydranautics Reverse Osmosis / Nanofiltration Elements Operation Excellence and Limiting Conditions Tech Fact. During prolonged system shutdowns, operators should immerse the membrane elements in a preservative solution to prevent biological growth. The customer accepts full responsibility for any effects caused by using incompatible chemicals and lubricants on the elements. Operators must avoid creating static permeate-side backpressure at all times. Operators must discard the permeate collected during the first hour of operation. Using this product alone does not guarantee the removal of cysts and pathogens from water. Designers and operators must ensure effective cyst and pathogen reduction by properly designing, operating, and maintaining the complete system.
