Metal Sculptures by Falko Behrendt, Germany (2007)

A pair of signed and numbered metal sculptures by German artist Falko Behrendt (born 1951), dated 2007. The sculptures feature elongated architectural forms with openwork geometric details and a dark patinated finish. Each work is mounted on a square metal base and is individually signed, dated, and numbered by the artist. Falko Behrendt is a German painter, graphic artist, and sculptor. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden between 1971 and 1975 and later worked as a freelance artist. His works are represented in numerous public collections and museums, including the Kupferstichkabinett Berlin, Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig, Kunsthalle Rostock, Staatliches Museum Schwerin, and the Deutsche Bank Art Collection in Frankfurt.
