Vintage Enrique Ledesma Taxco Silver & Obsidian Money Clip

Vintage Taxco Sterling Silver and Obsidian Modernist money clip, by Enrique Ledesma. Ledesma was an internationally renowned Mexican modernist designer/silversmith who worked with Spratling, Los Castillo, Aguilar & his own studio, as well as designing this clip for Platera Cortes. This modern geometric design features a black osidian stone that shimmers with gold flecks. In very good vintage condition. Minor scratches, wear and patina consistent with age and use. Stamped on back with the Ledesma logo, "Hecho en Mexico", "925", "Platera Cortes" "Taxco", and the eagle stamp indicative of Mexican Taxco Sterling Silver. Measures: approximately 0.5" x 2".
