DJI O4 Ground Station

The DJI O4 Ground Station is a robust, wide-area transmission system built to overcome the signal limits that hold back drone operations in challenging environments. Featuring a 12-antenna array and automatic multi-band selection, the new Gateway Mode connects directly to FlightHub 2 to bypass deployment barriers, while Relay Mode delivers offline reach. Maintenance-free by design, it’s built to drive 24/7 unattended operations – making it ideal for public safety, inspection, surveying, and dock-based deployments where reliable connectivity is critical. Key Features: 12-antenna array for serious range. Four OcuSync 4 Pro external directional antennas plus eight internal directional antennas deliver up to 40 km of transmission between the Matrice 400 and the O4 Ground Station, and up to 30 km with other supported aircraft (IC standard, unobstructed and interference-free). Gateway Mode. Connects directly to FlightHub 2 to remove deployment barriers and extend cloud-managed coverage across a wide operating area. Relay Mode for offline reach. Bridges connectivity to the remote controller or DJI Dock 3 where direct links aren’t possible, with effective relay coverage recommended within 1 km. High-performance RF unit. High-output capabilities boost signal penetration and coverage for reliable links through dense urban obstructions, with an optimised signal-to-noise ratio that recovers usable signals in complex electromagnetic environments. Built for 24/7 unattended operation. Maintenance-free design with a built-in LiPo backup battery (3250 mAh / 23.4 Wh) providing roughly 45 minutes of runtime in Gateway Mode during a sudden power loss, plus PoE auto wake-up and cold-weather heating startup down to -40°C. Rugged, all-weather build. IP67 ingress protection and an IK07 impact rating, with an operating range spanning -40° to 55°C (depending on the PoE supply class) and operation up to 6000 m altitude. Flexible power and connectivity. Powered over PoE (IEEE 802.3bt/at), with adaptive Ethernet and optional 4G access via the DJI Cellular Dongle 2 (sold separately). Integrated high-precision GNSS. Multi-constellation GNSS (GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, L-Band) with Network RTK accuracy down to 1.0 cm horizontal (RMS) + 1 ppm. Open ecosystem and software support. Works with FlightHub 2 (including On-Premises), DJI Cloud API, and ESDK 2.0, and supports up to four simultaneous 1080p H.264 streams from ONVIF / GB-T 28181 cameras.
