The large outer crystal bowl is intended to be filled with crushed ice, while the smaller glass insert nestles securely within a sterling silver tripod frame. The server features deep, vertical mitre cuts and a starburst base, characteristic of high-quality Hawkes crystal. Stamped "Hawkes Sterling" followed by the pattern number "5936" on the silver rim.
