Te Whare Ra, Sauvignon Blanc - 2024

NEW VINTAGE! Husband-and-wife duo Jason and Anna Flowerday have crafted a more refined style Sauvignon Blanc that reminds us just how special Marlborough wines can be. Fruit comes from their certified organic vineyards in the cooler Awatere Valley, where slower ripening keeps the acidity bright and allows all the flavors to fully develop. The wine is nuanced and layered, with gooseberry, citrus, elderflower, and passionfruit alongside subtle tropical notes. It has a lovely, rounded texture from time spent on lees in big old oak barrels. Bright, lively, and seriously delicious, this is Marlborough Sauvignon at its best! – Jennifer Bui
