MONTBLANC Meisterstück No. 149 Fountain Pen 14C Gold Extra-Fine Nib Serviced

German for "Masterpiece," the Meisterstück No. 149 and it's white "snow-cap" logo is a worldwide symbol of luxury and quality. Being Montblanc's flagship model, the 149 is easily recognizable by it's large, cigar-shaped body and the impressive #9 sized nib attached to it. A perfect fit for those with larger hands or even those who just want a bigger pen, the Montblanc No. 149 truly is a "Masterpiece" of German design. This pen has been serviced by our pen repair team here at G.C. Murphy. The nib unit has been sealed using 100% pure silicone grease to prevent leaks and the piston unit has been lubricated to ensure proper filling action. Serviced pens come with a 90-Day Warranty against any workmanship defects. Montblanc 149 fountain pens can be dated by identifying a few key differences between the nibs and feeds. This pen was produced sometime between 1972 and 1975 due to the 14C tri-color nib and solid ebonite feed.
