The Quiltstar Shawl MKAL is a 6-week mystery knitting journey where each clue reveals a new piece of this geometric and colorful puzzle. Inspired by traditional quilts, this triangular shawl is built from modular sections that come together in a playful and surprising way. → Join the fun in my Ravelry group! → Mystery Knit Along (MKAL) – This is a mystery project. One clue will be shared each week for six weeks. The design will appear gradually as you knit, and you’ll only see the finished shawl at the very end. → Construction, skill level & techniques – This triangular shawl features an unusual geometric construction and is worked flat. You’ll mostly knit in garter stitch, with modular sections, short rows, and picked-up stitches connecting the different parts. This project is suitable for intermediate knitters and beyond, as well as adventurous beginners who enjoy thoughtful construction and color placement. → Yarn requirements – You’ll need five colors of fingering weight yarn: MC: approx. 400 yards (365 meters); 4 CCs: approx. 133 yards (122 meters) each.
