Cotton Canvas is a robust loomstate natural fabric, ideal for all Fine Art oil paintings up to 6ft wide. Cotton canvas is hard-wearing, yet pliable enough to be stretched over an artist’s frame (stretcher) this is then primed to shrink the canvas to the frame to create a tight drum-like surface to paint on. Also can be used for other applications. Fabric is untreated ie. natural cream colour and requires washing or priming before further processing. Approx 398gsm.
