Eight sides. One centre. The Ashtkon Tray in sheesham draws from the symbolism of the octagon - a form often seen in Indian architecture as a bridge between the earthly square and the celestial circle. Handcrafted in Hoshiarpur, each inlay element is carved into sheesham wood and individually set by hand. The central medallion-like form creates symmetry, balance, and presence. Unlike printed decor, this technique requires carving grooves into wood and embedding each inlay piece before sanding and polishing. The result: A tray that feels ceremonial. Use it for: • Festive sweets during Diwali • Hosting gatherings • Centre table styling • Luxury gifting The depth of the wood grain ensures no two trays are identical.
