DOS Performance 75 Turbo - 2002-2007 Subaru WRX / 2004-2021 Subaru STI / 2004-2008 Subaru Forester XT
The 75 lb/min Stock Location Solution for the EJ Platform The DOS Performance 75 Turbo is the next step up in the DOS lineup, rated to flow 75 lbs per minute and support up to 750 crank hp. Like the DOS 70, it was co-developed with Blouch Performance Turbo and built specifically for the EJ platform in a true stock location configuration. The spool characteristics are tuned to feel responsive in street driving, while the flow ceiling opens up power levels that typically require a rotated setup. For a high-output street or track EJ build that needs to stay stock location, the DOS 75 is the most capable turbo in this format on the market. What the Dyno Chart Shows The dyno chart above is the most honest thing DOS Performance can put in front of you. The DOS 75 pulls hard across the entire power band, with strong mid-range torque and a top-end that keeps building where most stock-location turbos run out of breath. The curve is smooth and consistent, which matters as much for drivability as for peak numbers. A turbo that comes on like a light switch is fast on paper and exhausting to drive. The DOS 75 is not that turbo. 64mm Exducer Turbine, Purpose-Built Compressor The DOS 75 runs a 64mm exducer inconel 713c turbine wheel, four millimeters larger than the DOS 70. That extra size is what moves the flow rating from 70 to 75 lbs per minute and pushes the power ceiling to 750 crank hp. The 58mm compressor wheel is designed to operate at high pressure ratios and high shaft speeds, spec'd specifically to outflow any competing stock location turbo on the EJ platform. The 0.73 A/R exhaust housing keeps the system balanced between spool response and top-end flow. Dual Ceramic Ball Bearing Center Section The center rotating assembly uses the same dual ceramic ball bearing design with metal cages as the rest of the DOS lineup. The ceramic bearings reduce friction at all RPM ranges, improve spool response, and hold up better under the thermal cycling that kills traditional journal bearings in high-performance applications. Combined with the inconel turbine wheel, the DOS 75 is built to take sustained abuse and keep performing. Key Specifications Flow rating: 75 lbs/min Power support: up to 750 crank hp Compressor wheel: 58mm, high pressure ratio design Turbine wheel: 64mm exducer, inconel 713c alloy Exhaust housing: 0.73 A/R Bearing type: dual ceramic ball bearings, metal caged Co-developed with Blouch Performance Turbo Fitment: 2002-2007 Subaru WRX, 2004-2021 Subaru STI, 2004-2008 Subaru Forester XT Stock location direct replacement Straight From Subispeed The DOS 75 is where you go when the DOS 70 is not quite enough and you are not ready to commit to a rotated setup. That 750 crank hp ceiling covers most serious street and track builds on the EJ platform, and keeping it in the stock location means less fabrication, better hood clearance, and a cleaner engine bay. The dyno chart tells the real story here. Pull it up and look at the torque curve. That mid-range delivery is what separates a turbo that is fast everywhere from one that is only fast at the top.
