19th Century Green Silk Lakai Nim Suzani 125 x 161cm / 4'1" x 5'3"

It's very unusual to find a lakai with a green field. It's also one of the best colours and I love how this rare embroidery sings. The combination of different coloured wool and silk embroidery on the shimmering blue/green background is wonderful. Made in Uzbekistan for a wealthy family the small size is very versatile for display. In very good condition, some small splits, to be expected in a fragile textile like this, and one small hole on the left side border.
