Typewriter, 1970 Olympia Monica
A lovely two tone dark charcoal grey and white coloured 1970 Olympia Monica typewriter with charcoal grey keys, space bar and carriage trim. Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and ease of use. It has the Olympia logo on the front and has the standard Elite sized type face with 11 letters or characters to the inch. It types very nicely and has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made Universal ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on. We can supply Universal typewriter ribbons from $17.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options. This model has a metal casing and the whole front section lifts up to access the ribbon. The SM portables have a reputation as being "the writers " typewriter and this one certainly types very nicely. This Monica model is basically the same as an SM8 or SM9 but does not have a tabulator function or card guards. It does have a few small marks to the casing, but it is generally in a very good condition. It measures 30 cm by 32 cm by 14 cm high. It comes with its original black coloured carry case which is totally functional. It does have some small signs of wear and marks to the vinyl covering on the outside. We include a copy of an instruction manual. A good working Olympia in a lovely condition. Delivery from our UK workrooms directly to you anywhere within Australia is included in our price. You just need to allow 5-8 working days for the delivery.
