I love the title of this fabric - Bush Fanfare. If those parrots are anything like the parakeets that we get in South East London, then they're making an absolute racket! The black parrots are amazingly colourful with bright tail and wing plumage, offset with the black body. The Australian bush background is lush and has shades of pink, orange and yellow. It's a really happy cloth. The perched parrots are approximately 15cm long. This fabric is a cotton poplin. It has a bit of structure to it, so it would hold a puff sleeve or crisp pleat. It is ideal for dressmaking - garments like shirts, tops, skirts and dresses would be perfect. Karina+Kind is a female-owned and run Australian brand, run by Karina Peatey. Her fabrics are known for their bright, happy prints with a nod to collage, and are environmentally conscious.
