Vintage solid 18ct gold Amethyst & Diamond solitaire ring 1980's

This is a stunning vintage amethyst solitaire ring! It is crafted in hallmarked 18ct white and yellow gold and set with the most beautiful faceted round cut amethyst. This lovely stone has a mystical, violet purple colour and the multiple facets give it depth and lots of twinkles of light and dark tones across the face of the stone. It measures 8mm equal to approx 1.80 carats! Each side of the setting it has two tiny accent diamonds set on the shoulders which give the ring extra detail and add a touch of quality to the setting. The band is plain polished 18ct yellow gold. A striking ring perfect for a unique engagement ring or February birthday or anniversary gift.
