1930’s Eisenberg Rhinestone Fur Clip
Era: Crafted in the late 1930’s to early 1940’s during the peak of the Art Deco costume jewelry period. Materials: Features high-quality, clear prong-set glass paste rhinestones in assorted geometric, round, and large oval shapes. The setting is heavy base pot metal typical of the period. Function: A "fur clip" features a mechanism on the back with two sharp prongs rather than a standard pin stem, designed to attach securely to heavy textiles, cloaks, or furs without destroying the pile. Measurements: 3” x 2” Condition: very good. All stones are present, only the top left oval stone shows clouding.
