Bitokkou Bitokkou is a paper goods brand specializing in letterpress printing, created through the collaboration between COCHAE, a creative collective based in Okayama, and the Printing Department of Onishi Shoten, a printing company founded in Bizen City, Okayama in 1920. Onishi Shoten Printing Department Founded in 1920 by Kanichi Onishi, the company began as a letterpress printing business and quickly embraced new technologies, introducing Heidelberg presses and four-colour printing machines to meet the changing needs of the times. In addition to conventional printing, Onishi Shoten specializes in letterpress printing, silk-screen printing, shipping tags, tapestries, and a wide range of specialty bookbinding and printing techniques. Sayaka Sugiura began working as an illustrator while studying at the College of Art, Nihon University. Her illustrations and essays, with their unique style and perspective, have garnered a strong following among readers.
