A Cased Colt Percussion 1849 Model Single Action Five Shot Pocket Revolver, No. 7942 for 1851. With sighted blued, octagonal barrel with two-line London address, cylinder with engraved stagecoach hold up scene, frame stamped ‘Colt’s Patent’ on theft hand side and retaining some case-colour hardening, rammer, nickel plated trigger guard and back-strap, with matching serial numbers throughout: in original blue velvet lines case, with accessories including bullet mould, cap tin and James Dixon & Sons powder flask, the exterior of the lid with vacant brass escutcheon.
