Mabon – The Wheel of the Year Playing Cards series This preorder is for the booklet for the project Mabon is the autumn equinox, and takes its name from Welsh character Mabon who appeared briefly in Arthurian legend. While many records of an ‘end of the harvest’ celebration have been recorded across various cultures, there is no note of a shared name as with the other festivals. Modern pagan reconstructionists have given the period the name ‘Mabon’ in honour of this figure, allowing it to regain its importance in the Wheel of the Year.
