Organic Garlic Powder (Allium sativum) is a savory and robust seasoning ground from dried garlic bulbs, with pungent, slightly hot and biting garlic flavor. Garlic is a powerful ingredient, and when in powdered form, it's even more robust. It's an excellent replacement for fresh garlic when you don't have any on hand, ready with a flip of the lid. Most of our organic garlic is grown in China through an innovative farmer land-ownership program. We personally meet directly with growers whenever possible to foster quality botanicals and sound social and environmental practices. This garlic meets all requirements for U.S.D.A. organic certification. Our bulk organic garlic powder is also non-irradiated, non-ETO and certified kosher. Product color and size may vary by lot due to varying growing conditions. Directions Powdered garlic is much more potent than garlic cloves — a little goes a long way. Use about 1/8 teaspoon of powdered garlic in place of one fresh garlic clove.
