Universal Floating Bracket for Treehouse

This completely re-designed floating bracket retains the 3/8” A36 powder coated steel baseplate and ¼” steel uplift arrestor, but features a wider base and offset mounting holes to facilitate mounting with four 5/16” x 4” structural screws (included). The screw locations ensure that the screws will be optimally positioned in the beam above, regardless of whether it is a multi-ply beam built out of standard dimensional lumber or engineered glued/laminated (GLULAM) lumber, required for longer spans. The uplift arrestor “window” is optimally sized to work with any of our Standard Duty (SD) treehouse attachment bolts (CORE, 3x9 and 6x12) and our 1.25” Lag Bolts. It is also compatible with our 1.75” HD TABs, as well as our SD TAB Extensions (this means that, if you’re building with longevity in mind, you can seamlessly upgrade from an SD TAB to an SD TAB Extension without having to change out your hardware!) This bracket features a ½” Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) pad that allows the tree attachment hardware to displace in any direction horizontally, ensuring that natural tree movement does not damage your structure. Our pads are installed with a two-way fastening system that is unique to the industry and prevents pad displacement, a problem that commonly occurs with other manufacturers’ hardware.
