Thyris Electronics HAS-0R
This new flagship headphone amplifier utilizes patented ground-sensing technology to achieve ultra-low crosstalk of -100dB or less (*), despite using a standard 3.5mm 3-pole unbalanced connection. Unlike balanced (BTL) connections, there is no increase in output impedance, ensuring excellent performance even with conventional headphones using standard 3.5mm 3-pole plugs. Distortion remains extremely low even under low-impedance loads. Combined with superior channel separation, this amplifier is ideal for monitoring binaural recordings and spatial audio—which require high-precision reproduction—as well as for use as a reference amplifier for measuring headphones and other equipment. To prevent unwanted ground loops and signal-to-noise (S/N) degradation caused by power connections, the unit supports battery-powered operation. External power can also be supplied via USB Type-C when necessary. An internal semiconductor switch automatically manages the transition to external power and ensures the battery is charged safely, allowing you to use the device without worrying about battery degradation. Notes *Crosstalk varies significantly depending on the characteristics of the earphone cable. Measured using FRA5097. *With the exception of dedicated accessories, 3.5mm 4-pole plugs cannot be used. *Actual values measured using the THD mode of a VP-7725A.
