Princess Nadia Ajuga
Princess Nadia is the first multi-color variety of Ajuga tenorii. Originating in the Mediterranean region, the pastel pink, white, and sage green foliage is a perfect backdrop for the vivid blue flowers, rising in spires above this dense ground cover. Less aggressive that other Ajuga varieties, Princess Nadia will still fill in gaps in your planting areas, and does well in pots as well as in-ground. Ideal for borders and rock gardens. once established this perennial ground cover requires little care. Care Although we've seen it growing in full sun, it seems to prefers partial to full shade and humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil. Considered a perennial in zones 4-9. Growth Habit Ajuga is well-suited for growing under shade trees, between path pavers, on slopes, or anywhere else that color and texture are needed. It can handle direct sunlight as well, but does best with a little shade. Our plant spacing recommendation (12"-18" apart) are based on how quickly ground covers will spread in their first season of growth. Toxicity Considered non-toxic to pets and also deer resistant.
