Youth Mental Health First Aid

This course teaches how to assist adolescents with mental health issues or crises using an evidence-based Action Plan.

• Mental health problems covered include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, psychosis, and substance use problems.
• Mental health crises covered include suicidal thoughts, non-suicidal self-injury, panic attacks, traumatic events, severe psychotic states, severe effects from alcohol or other drug use, and aggressive behaviors.
