A three-day workshop teaches direct-to-plate platemaking using inkjet printers for creating photopolymer printing plates, suitable for both continuous tone and hand-drawn artwork.

• The method does not require an intermediate positive or negative, saving on material costs.
• No vacuum frame is needed for exposure, allowing use of any UV light source including sunlight.
• It is more tolerant of exposure variations compared to traditional two-exposure methods.
