Firing Services- Large Items & Kiln Firings
This service allows non-members and non-students to have items fired at Community Clay, requiring pre-purchased clay and adherence to specific preparation guidelines.
- A $50 kiln cleaning fee applies if items explode due to moisture.
- A $25–$100 cleaning fee applies if glazed items drip onto kiln shelves.
- Only mid-fire cone 5–6 glazes are permitted, and glaze approval is required.
- Results of glazes can vary between kilns.
