Placement in the middle third of the tank on the rockwork is often ideal. While photosynthetic, they benefit from occasional target feeding of meaty foods like brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, or specialized LPS coral food once or twice a week. Maintain stable water parameters, including calcium between 400-450 ppm, alkalinity at 8-12 dKH, and magnesium between 1250-1350 ppm. This species has long and potent sweeper tentacles, so it is critical to provide at least 6-8 inches of space from neighboring corals to prevent stinging. Acclimation should be done slowly to allow the coral to adjust to your tank's conditions.
