Native and Drought Tolerant Gardening with Kathy Schultheis

Gardening in the Inland Northwest comes with challenges - hot summers, cold winters, and an increased pressure to conserve water. In this class, landscape architect and avid gardener, Kathy Schultheis, will introduce gardeners to beautiful, resilient plants that thrive in our area. May 16th, 10:00am - $10 per person Participants will learn how to design gardens (or add to existing gardens) using plants that are adapted to local soils and climate. Topics will include garden design, plant pairings, plant care, soil preparation, and planting tips.
